I began my own revival with film after the purchase of my Mamiya 645 AF in August of 2014. I had a wedding that fall and I knew that photo realism look that I wanted to achieve could only come from a film camera. In 2016 I brought home a Contax 645 and have spent most of the year shooting ONLY film. There is no greater pleasure for me than to open an email from my lab titles "your scans are ready."
This is where the rubber meets the road.

Its amazing what you can get out of an 8 megapixel camera on your phone. All of these images were shot on my iPhone and edited with VSCO or Afterlight. Palm Universe (B/W raindrop shot) has been featured in a couple iPhoneography shows across the US.
Travelling is my happy place. You can only take so many photos of your backyard,
This is a project I started in 2015. A simple point n shoot and a roll of black and white 35 mm film. Sometimes I finish a roll in a month sometimes six months. No pressure just a nice little reminder of moments passed when I get my roll back from the lab.
Camera: Nikon One Touch
Fav film: TriMax 400
From time to time I do portrait work. Sometimes seniors, sometimes headshots mostly my kids. I'd be happy to meet you at the beach and play around with my cameras anytime. Drop me a line here.
Food you are my favorite. You look good in just about any light and you don't talk back. Events and menu work always welcome. I look forward to eating, I mean shooting the samples.
